• Cationic emulsions: These are the most commonly used in road construction and maintenance projects, due to their fast drying time and their ability to provide excellent adhesion to a wide variety of surfaces. These emulsions are effective in varying climatic conditions and ensure greater durability of the pavement. They are also very versatile, as they can be used in surface treatments, asphalt slurries, and crack sealing, making them a reliable choice for rehabilitation and road improvement projects.

• Anionic emulsions: These emulsions are an excellent choice for soils with high clay content, as they offer excellent stability even in adverse climates. Their formulation allows for better compatibility with these soils, ensuring uniform distribution and optimum performance in high humidity or extreme temperatures. Anionic emulsions are also highly recommended for rural areas and roads where there is not much traffic, where the type of terrain requires specific solutions to maintain the durability and performance of the pavement.

• Polymer-modified emulsions: These are designed for projects that require higher wear resistance; these emulsions offer greater elasticity and flexibility to the pavement.
